Geena davis is an American actress who has been an actor for more than fifty years. The actress was a part of the Mensa group and actor who played the roles on the screen in Thelma & Louise Beetlejuice, Stuart Little and Thelma & Louise. The actress won an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for the 1988 drama The Accidental tourist for playing Muriel Pritchett, one of the characters in Beetlejuice. Also, she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in recognition of her performance as a character in A League of Their Own. She played the lead character in Beetlejuice - an American horror comedy film from 1988. It was written by and directed with Tim Burton. Davis was awarded numerous awards both for her work on film and in television. Her work was noted as a strong, authentic women as well as her support to support women in the field. Davis was captivated by music at a young age. As a teenager Davis began to play the piano as well as the flute. Davis completed her studies
